Bio
Dr. David Musoke, a public health professional, has greatly supported research, capacity development, and community service for over 15 years in various fields including environmental health, community health, malaria prevention, One Health, and antimicrobial resistance. He is Co-Chair of the Community Health Workers Thematic Working Group of Health Systems Global; Chair of the Africa Academy for Environmental Health; has mentored several early career researchers; has supported bi-directional learning of students and faculty with partners from around the world; as well as has been involved in vast research dissemination through publications, book chapters, and conference presentations. He is particularly recognised for spearheading the first ever International Symposium on Community Health Workers held in Uganda in 2017, and these symposia are now held biennially across the world.
He was elected as an AAS Affiliate for his immense contribution to Environmental and Public Health training, research, and knowledge exchange in Africa and beyond.
